I can remember going to the store right when Into Another's self titled CD came out. Upon getting home and hearing it I wanted to throw it out the window. I thought "that's no fucking Bold and that sure as hell ain't no Underdog". A few years later as my tastes matured and my barriers lightened up on what I allowed myself to absorb I realized that they were a total fucking force to be reckoned with. I got the opportunity to see them live plenty of times and the performances were pretty intense. This band was so ahead of the game...

But Herbivore....
I was a metal head growing up, before I got into hardcore (im talking middle school. and "metal" being Motley Crue, ha!) and the s/t even then was a mind fuck. But I quickly loved it. Song by song, riff by riff, I was immersed in Into Another.
They killed live too. I really miss this band.
A friend gave me the Soul Control demos, from their supposed last album. Theyre pretty bad, but theres one song, Anne Dreuds Last Entry, that totally reminds me of Creepy Eepy era..
If watching these videos doesn't make you want to smoke weed, I don't know what will. Great band.
I love love love Into Another, so glad I got to see em once over here in the Netherlands. I even love the Soul Control unreleased album, altho it's nothing like their previous stuff. Ignaurus is my fave tho.
